Forests for People –työpaja, 22.-24.5. Itävalta
IUFRO Task Force on Forests and Human Health will organise two sessions at the IUFRO Conference “Forests for People”, Alpbach, Tyrol/Austria, May 22 - 24, 2012. You can distribute this announcement to your institute and colleagues who might be interested.
The workshop “From Forest to Pharmacy” will present an overview of the field of medicinal and chemical properties of forest derived biomasses and their use as medicinal agents. The workshop will bring together scientists from the fields of biology, chemistry, biotechnology,pharmacology and medicine to have a dialogue on the search for the bioactive compounds, their effects and use as sources for new drugs as
well as the future challenges for the research in this area.
